Another good way to prevent dehydration and hyperthemia is to ALWAYS carry water with you when exercising.

I read an article about an Australian ultramarathon winner named Wayne Gregory who had a wearable wrist water bottle. He froze it -- and so besides giving him an extra water source, it lowered his body temperature (the wrists are an ideal heat transfer point.) By keeping his core temp down, he was able to keep going and win the 100 mile race.

Not everybody needs that kind of endurance, but it's a great idea to combine hydration with something capable of working as a cooling device as well.

That's great, but the Padres need to stop wearing those camouflage "baby killer" uniforms if they want to get any support from decent, real Americans.

[...] Via SportingHall.com… The “repeat the three-peat” wins of the NBA finals of ‘96, ‘97, and ‘98 created a cadre of basketball superstars and characters and set the bar at a new high for the next generation of players. Now a little piece of that victory is up on the auction block. In a testament to the far reach of the recession, former Bulls guard and assistant coach to the Sacramento Kings, Randy Brown, has declared bankruptcy, and his three championship rings will be for sale to the highest bidder via online auction at WestAuction.com.
Eagles fans are definitely jacked up for this game. Our Philadelphia Eagles Fan application on Facebook has gone through the roof in the last 30 days in terms of new users and active users. Throughout the entire season we saw ~30K monthly active users and now we're up to ~200K. Of course that raises a big question: Are Philly fans passionate or bandwagoners? Where was all that support in Nov?
